We are in a season of miracles. I’ve seen it with my own eyes. On July 10-13, 2022, I attended a tent crusade in Colorado Springs, CO, held by Mario Murillo, and hosted by Radiant Church. I volunteered on the salvation prayer team for the first three nights and was able to personally attend the event on the fourth and final night.
Each night the tent was filled to overflowing with thousands of people. Each night the crowd grew by great numbers. It was a privilege to meet volunteers from the local area as well as those who traveled from other states to help. It was a joy to pray with each one sent my way who committed or re-committed their life to Christ. On the fourth night, I was thrilled to see the hundreds and hundreds come forward for salvation as the crowd cheered them on. From that experience, I have but a glimpse of how glorious heaven looks and sounds at moments like these.
“I tell you, in the same way there will be more joy in heaven over one repenting sinner
than over the ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance.”
Luke 15:7 TLV
Miraculous healings took place each night, but it was the fourth night that I saw them with my own eyes. Precious people, most of whom had suffered for years, were instantly healed. A few of them, I personally know. What were they healed of?
Excruciating pain from misaligned bones from accidents, intestinal diseases, necks, shoulders, backs and spines, hips, ears, eyes, jaws, dizziness, joint pain, internal growths and tumors, heart conditions, feet, degenerative diseases, spinal nerve damage, severe heart disease, brain, blood diseases, lung diseases, cancer, headaches, diabetes, pernicious anemia, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, neuropathy, liver infection, kidney failure.
I must also mention that many were baptized in the Holy Spirit. Simultaneously, many spoke in unknown tongues for the first time.
This is not just happening at this one crusade. It is occurring across the United States. It is occurring around the world, wherever Jesus is welcomed. Sometimes, it is even happening where He is not welcomed! When Jesus reveals Himself personally to those who have refused to believe in Him, they know without a doubt that it is Him. Belief cannot help but follow.
Why am I not seeing it? Likely, because you are not looking for it. Some of you are afraid to look for it, for it may actually be true and you might need to change a few things in your own life. If you look for it, you will find it. Look up Mario Murillo Ministries. Watch his videos. Listen to countless testimonies from his ministry and many other ministries as well. They are out there.
But I don’t believe in that stuff. Then you will not receive it. Is it too much to be happy for those that do believe and receive?
I think it’s all a show. It’s fake. I encourage you to be like the Bereans mentioned in the Bible.
Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, because they received the message
with goodwill, searching the Scriptures each day to see whether these things were true.
Acts 17:11 TLV
Try reading about miracles and healings in the Bible. Read other books about healings. Go to an event and see for yourself. Speak to some who claim to be healed. Ask them questions and decide for yourself. I know that if I was instantly healed I’d be jumping up and down, shouting and crying, making a fool of myself. As uncomfortable as it may make you feel, you’d likely do the same.
During the tent crusade healings, Mario said, “Do not look at a man. Look at Jesus. Turn your eyes upon Jesus.” It was not Mario that had special powers. It was through his faith and obedience to Jesus Christ that God chose to move, bless and heal the people.
Well, I’ve prayed for people and no one has ever been healed. Well, now is not the time to stop. It is not unwillingness on God’s part. Jesus healed all who came to Him, and Jesus gave this same power to His followers. What limits us is often our own lack of faith, belief, understanding, practice, lifestyle, even—or most of all—a lack of depth in our relationship with Christ.
Proverbs 28:1b says, “the righteous are as bold as a lion.” Honestly, the righteous have not been as bold as lions. It is time for that to change. If you are a Jesus follower, pour yourself into knowing Him better. Find out and know who you are in Him. Learn to hear His voice and do what He tells you to do. Then you will become bold as a lion. God often told (and still tells) his people: Do not fear. Only believe. Do not doubt. Be bold. He is waiting for you to partner with Him to bring goodness, even healings and miracles, into this dark and struggling world.
We are in a season of miracles. Do you want to be a part of it? If you need prayer or encouragement, seek out help through the many ministries available through local and online ministries and churches. Send me a message and I will pray for you. Don’t remain the same even one more day. It is a season of miracles!
Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.
